What is KYC: KYC means Know Your Customer. By completing KYC, you can digitally get verified your details. In EPF, your employer will confirm your KYC; employer will confirm that entered details belonged to you. After successful verification of your KYC by the employer, you will be eligible to apply and avail EPF benefits. To know more how to Complete you’re PF KYC FORM, follow below given steps.
STEP 1: Visit to EPF Unified Member Portal:
To get started visit EPF Unified Member portal. Enter your UAN Number and Password. By entering Captcha click Sign In. You will be directed to your home page. Select Manage from the given menus. Under the Manage you will find KYC option. Click on KYC button to get started.

STEP 1: Enter your KYC Details:
By Clicking on KYC, you’ll able to see multiple documents types as shown below.
- BANK
- AADHAR CARD NUMBER
- PASSPORT
- DRIVING LICENSE
- ELECTION CARD
- RATION CARD
- NATIONAL POPULATION REGISTER
BANK ACCOUNT, PAN and AADHAR Numbers are mandatory only if you want to avail EPF benefits online, Like online PF ADVANCE FORM 31 or to settle your PF CLAIM.
STEP 2: Enter your KYC Details:
By selecting option from the given list, you can enter your details.
AADHAR CARD NUMBER: You have to enter your Aadhar card’s 10 digits in the given number section. Name as mentioned in Aadhar Card. Wrong entered details will not be accepted and UIDAI will deny that. Enter Carefully.
PAN CARD NUMBER: Enter your PAN number in the given box, and Name mentioned in PAN Card.
BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: Enter your Bank Account Number (enter carefully). Your name as per bank record and IFSC of your bank branch.
Important Note: “Your Name on your PAN, AADHAR and PAN card must be same. Date of birth on PAN and AADHAR should also match.”
STEP 3: Pending KYC Details:
After entering your PAN, AADHAR and BANK details successfully, they will reflect in KYC PENDING FOR APPROVAL. You have done it from your side. Now your employer will receive your request on Employer Portal. Your pending KYC details will show as shown below.
STEP 4: Approved KYC Details:
KYC will be verified by your employer. You can also contact to your employer of HRD to get them verified. Once details will verified, your KYC information will show in Approved KYC Details instead of Pending KYC Details. As shown below.
STEP 4: Check Approved KYC Details:
After successful updating of KYC and approved by your employer, now you can see status of the same in Approved KYC Details option. As shown below, here my KYC has been approved by the employer and now I can avail benefits of online options. Like Online Advance form or Final Claim settlement.
